SAM HILL, PRESIDENT
Sam Hill is a research scientist with ten years of experience in
optical engineering and image processing
field. His experience includes optical systems and mesh network sensor arrays
reviously, he has been a consultant on several New England Renewable
Energy projects. During his work for Actuality Systems, he
developed novel flat panel-based 3D displays for oil and gas
exploration. Hill holds an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology Media Lab.M.S. in Optical Engineering from the University of Arizona.

JOSEPH DAHMEN, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Joseph Dahmen is an architect and technologist dedicated to developing
environmentally sustainable alternative energy solutions. Dahmen has
provided consulting services on environmental construction systems for
national and international architecture clients. His research into low
energy construction systems has been supported by the Architecture
League of New York, the Boston Society of Architects, the Schlossman
Research Sasaki Associates, Inc. and others. Dahmen received a Master
of Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2006.

DR. ROBIN KODNER, DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH
Dr. Kodner is a geobiologist with eight years of experience with
microalgae. Dr. Kodner leads strain development and lipid optimization
for modular bioreactors under development at Bodega. Dr. Kodner
received her PhD in Biology from Harvard University in 2006. Her
research focuses on lipids from algae, their preservation potential in
the geologic record, and interpreting ancient organic matter sourced
by algae, which is preserved in the form of petroleum.

AMANDA PARKES, CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Amanda Parkes is a mechanical engineer who brings 10 years of experience in design engineering and advanced manufacturing techniques to Bodega. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Product Design) and a B.A. in Art History from Stanford University, and an M.S. in Media Arts and Sciences from the MIT where she is also currently a PhD candidate. She was recently named one of Mass High Tech's 'Women to Watch' for 2008.

JUSTIN FERRENTINO, PRINCIPLE RESEARCH ENGINEER
Justin Ferrentino is a chemical engineer with extensive experience in growing and maintaining dense large-volume algae cultures. His research focuses on growing large quantities of Chlorella and related strains and improving lipid extraction techniques. Ferrentino received his M.S. in chemical engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 2007 and a B.S. in Biological and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.

ALAN WHITE, ADVISOR, BOARD MEMBER
Alan White has held executive positions in business development,
product strategy, sales and corporate finance for companies developing
manufacturing, user interface, architectural, and financial solutions.
Over the last few years, he and his partnership have invested in
renewable technologies in the areas of bio-fuels and cradle-to-cradle
recycling. He served as the Director of Manufacturing Industries for
Silicon Graphics after holding positions in sales and product
development. Before embarking on a career in high technology, Mr.
White worked on the commodity arbitrage trading desk at Bear, Stearns,
and Co, in the crude oil/products sector. Alan holds a BS in Applied
Mathematics and Economics from Union College, and an MS from the MIT
Sloan School of Business, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

ALAIN HANOVER, ADVISOR, BOARD MEMBER
Alain Hanover is the Managing Director at Navigator Technology Ventures. He has served as CEO for over 15 years at InCert and Viewlogic, as well as being an early stage investor or advisor in over 20 private companies. He also co-founded Common Angels, Boston's leading Angel Investor group and was on the Board of the Mass Renewable Energy Trust for over 10 years. Alain holds B.S. degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics from MIT; an M.S. in applied math from Harvard and an OPM program degree from Harvard Business School.
